Work Site Safety Inspections

Work Site Safety Inspections

Package Overview

BVS Canada provides in-depth worksite safety inspections that focuses on more than 30 compliance points, including but not limited to emergency response, fall protection, hazard assessments, safety documentation, site conditions, first aid requirements, worker competence, and PPE compliance. Giving you valuable peace of mind and proof that you and your sites are taking all measures necessary to operate a safe work site.

It is human nature that workers can become complacent over time and this is a useful reminder to them of how important safety is to keep themselves and colleagues safe.

Additional COVID-19 Spread Prevention Measures Available if Required

For essential service businesses, such as construction sites, accommodation providers, and stores there are a number of additional safe work practices and measures required to ensure both workers and the general public minimize contact and the likelihood of spreading the coronavirus COVID-19.

  • Social Distancing
  • PPE
  • Personnel and site hygiene requirements

Why Are Site Inspections Required?

Part of all good OHS programs is constant monitoring and continual improvement. The work site inspections provide an opportunity for you to check that what you say you are doing within your documentation is being followed in the field. By observing the worksite and workers the inspector completes a report on any areas for improvement, good work practices, and areas for potential hazards, that can be corrected before they become a serious incident.

Package Includes

  • Schedule inspections at weekly, bi-weekly or monthly intervals

  • Check-in with onsite trades
  • Comprehensive official written Work Site Safety Inspection Report

  • Prioritization on all Identified Hazards

  • Corrective Actions with Due Dates

  • Digital and Hard Copy Provided

Our Procedure for Setting up Work Site Safety Inspections

  1. Our team will start by reviewing your safety program and specific requirements for safety inspections.

  2. We then develop an inspection schedule for all work sites.

  3. Inspections will be scheduled and carried out by fully trained, experienced health and safety officers.

  4. The inspector will visit the worksite, talk to workers and other trades on-site, point out both areas for improvement and note any best practices observed.
  5. Completed Inspection reports will be delivered within 24 hrs, to your required distribution list.

  6. When complete, review with the management team
